Request for Incident Reports:
All request for incident reports (expect accident reports) MUST be submitted to Prince George's County Records Department. A $10.00 money order, cashier's check or business check must be submitted along with the written request. The written requests for incident reports MUST include:
* Case Number (CCN)
* A copy of your State-issued identification

Request for Accident Reports:
There is a $10.00 fee for all accident reports. Your request must be submitted in the form of cash, money order or a company check.
To obtain a copy of an accident report, you may visit the police department or you may submit a written request.
Your written request should include:
* Date of accident
* Location of accident
* Case number / CCN
* Parties involved in the accident
Accident reports will ONLY be released to the parties involved in the accident or the insurance companies representing the parties.
Note: Accident reports will be mailed to you directly.

* The owner must obtain vehicle release from the police department.
* The fee for a vehicle release is $75.00 and should be submitted in the form of cash or money order.
* The vehicle release will ONLY be issued to the registered owner of the vehicle.
* The registered owner of the vehicle must show proof of ownership of the vehicle in form of the registration or title, a state-issued photo ID and $75.00 cash or money order.
* The yellow copy of the vehicle release and your state-issued ID must be shown to the tow company to retrieve your vehicle.
