The Timeline below outlines the history of the City Commercial Revitalization Project through the year 2007.

July 2007 
  • Construction Document Phase Begins.

  • Ratified Service Agreement for 6300 Block Facade and Infrastructure Improvement Project.

  • Project Manager and Arel Architects, Inc. finalize conceptual drawing.
June 2007
  • Conceptual Design for the 6300 Block Completed.  
May 2007
  • Conceptual Design Alternatives presented to Business owners.

  • Conceptual Design Alternatives presented to City Council and Approved.
March 2007
  • Project begins with existing Site Analysis.

  • Project Kick-off Meeting and Presentation of Existing Conditions Analysis between City and 6300 Block Business Owners. 
February 2007
  • The final architect contract is finalized and City selects Arel Architects, Inc. to provide architectural/engineering services for the Facade restoration and infrastructure improvement project.
December 2006
  • The project architect is selected.
November 2006 
  • RFQ pre-submission meeting held.
October 2006
  • Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for architectural/engineering services for the Facade restoration and infrastructure improvement project on October 19, 2006.
July 2006 
  • City receives Program participation agreements from 100% property owners of the 6300 Block.
