Street Maintenance

Another one of our daily tasks includes the maintenance and upkeep of the our city's streets. We are aware of the potential damage pot holes can have on a vehicle, so we are constantly keeping track of the condition of our city streets. When a street is extensively damaged, a contractor is called upon to make the necessary repairs.

Street Signs

The upkeep of our streets signs is very important, not only to our residents but to those traveling through our city. All street signs should be visible and replaced when damaged. Every year street signs are inspected to ensure that they are not deteriorating, corroded, or out of date.

Litter Control

In order to maintain the our city's beauty, our staff takes it upon themselves to remove liter from our streets. This includes emptying the city's trash receptacles and taking down unsightly signs that are posted throughout the city. This process occurs every Monday and Wednesday.
