The City of District Heights will hold its Municipal Election on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building and Recreation Center, located at 2000 Marbury Drive, District Heights, MD.
Residents interested in running for office may pick up a Candidate Filing Package from the City Clerk’s Office between January 26–30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A valid State Photo ID is required at pickup.
Offices up for election include Mayor (at-large), Ward I Commissioner, and Ward II Commissioner. Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements, including voter registration and residency criteria.
